Currently, one of the main causes of noise in mines, the locally manufactured FBD series flameproof press-fit axial flow local ventilators frequently have noise levels of 100-120 dB in underground conditions, significantly surpassing the national noise standards. Long-term coal miners' physical and mental well-being has an effect on both their physical and mental well-being and the advancement of production efficiency.
In collaboration with academic institutions like Dahl Fluid Research Institute and Xi'an Jiaotong University, our company thoroughly examined the locations where local fans are used in coal mines. We also spoke with ventilation equipment management operators and performed on-site noise analysis of the fans. Ultimately, we were able to confirm that the current local fans were being used. The primary source of the loud fan noise is the radiated noise produced by the air friction noise at the air inlet. For this circumstance, numerous noise reduction design methods have been put forth. An efficient and economical noise reduction solution has finally been identified through extensive, repetitive testing and verification over an extended period. The air inlet uses a side air inlet structure design as a solution.
Flow collection and rectification reduce inlet noise, and the original fan inlet air flow direction is parallel to the fan rotation axis. This structure's design constraints result in significant reflected noise and an imperceptible noise reduction effect, both of which negatively affect the usage environment.
